Back in February we came to Boise to see Cassidy Joy and then drive to Pocatello for the Amy Grant concert. The day before we left, the concert was cancelled. No big deal we got to see Cassidy and Trent and hang out in beautiful Boise.
The concert was re-schedule for May. We had a chance to go back down for a night, have lunch with Cassidy and Trent, attend the concert and watch Eli run in the state high school track championships.
Good breakfast at Goldy’s, brussel sprouts at 10 Barrel, downtown Boise and always a run to Baja Fresh.
The Amy Grant concert was fun. So many of the old songs she sang were songs we sang to the girls when they were infants and they couldn’t get to sleep. Other songs she sang were songs that the girls used to danced to wearing multi colored hats, feather boas, tutus and Brianne’s high heels. We are getting old!
SUMMARY: Amy Grant was great, seeing Cassidy was joyful, Trent has white legs like Uncle Bill and Eli was super fast!
