Brianne booked us a small group, skip the long lines, tour of the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica.
Beautiful collection of artwork, sculptures, mosaics, paintings and weaving. But…sad to see the monstrous Roman Catholic system and its attempts to gain Gods favor by faith PLUS works, money, penance, etc. As if my damnable sins could be covered, and the giving of God’s Son, Jesus, to die in my place, could be earned or paid back by my works.
Even so, the skills that God has granted some artists and engineers is truly amazing. Enjoy some of their artwork pictured below. Pictures don’t do it justice though, it has to be seen.

After the Vatican we returned to the two restaurants/shops from our previous days food tour. We loved the Buffalo Motzerella from and pizza from Ruggeris and the pizza from Rosciolis. Along the way we found this open air market in Piazza Farnese.
We actually visited two more of the five restaurants we were introduced to on the walking food tour, late tonight. While eating this sweet lady came and sang us a song.
Above: we visited Trevi Fountain
Below: we also visited the Spanish Steps. CAN YOU FIND BRIANNE IN THE PICTURE?
