Monterosso is the north most city/town of the five towns comprising the Cinque Terre, Italy.
We are staying in the “Old Town” section of Monterosso probably because we are old. The two sections are connected by a tunnel or path.
We were awaken this morning at 6:00 am when my phone received 20-30 group text messages, all at once, regarding coming up with a name for Eli’s new surfboard. I had forgotten to turn it off last night. Since we were up, we decided to hike the trail connecting Monterosso and Vernazza. Beautiful! More steps than Santorini.
