Thursday, July 27. Athens. 

Early flight from Santorini to Athens, 30 minutes compared to 8 hours by boat. 

Arrived Athens and headed downtown to the Acropolis for a guided tour. Our tour guide was great, 15 people in the group. Here is a minute of her narration. 

Found a juice bar that juices fruits and veggies and the product comes out the front  of the display case into your cup. Twist on a lid and head out. Check it out.

The Parthenon on the Acropolis has had scaffolding since 1980’s. They are in the decades long process of strengthening and rebuilding it for future generations.
